Fanatic Heart

Science records reflect pictures as far as man see

Deep within the earth and counting galaxies

Micro science amplify with light the ruptured “glory’s”

Articulate definition proves God made biology’s

Each era in a time line based on fact depicted mysteries

Words assume a different force of man made energies

World renowned educators are exiled as mediocrities

Secular views argue science; divulged in abnormalities

God blessed revelators are silenced by political policies

Spirituality in love’s affinity revealed in times like these

The beauty of God’s mystery in faith the heart believes

A peace that passes understanding; is in truth, eternity’s

Let us realize the need for truth when we see spiritual hunger

In the eyes of those around us, “is it I Lord to feed the poor”

Blessed are those who are hungry, for they shall be filled

Did you entrust me with this vision in your faith I am compelled

Is there virtue in my veins Lord that can touch the weary held

I respond to your Grace Lord, your tenderness is felt

Are there words that I can utter surmounting evil’s smog

Burn out faithless webs and chants with holy words of God

May I render up gifts Lord for your will on earth in power

These spoken words from heaven into darkness to devour

I believe it is your light that leads my frail insight

Of your covenant in promise, I trust what is right

By your omnipotence I invoke your majesty this hour

I give to you my life again, all I ever thought I am

For you to move mountains and open the heart of man

No greater purpose to love or live or die

Than to know until my last breath it is our faith, you and I

What would life be like if I waited for you with baited breath

Fanaticized your gentle touch and dreamed of your caress

If I was enamored with your presence and your charms

Always in need of your closeness warm within your arms

If my temperament was misdirected when you were gone

If you didn’t agree with me then you were wrong

How would you feel if my mood would take a new low

When you said you have to work, it’s time for you to go

If I would emotionally hang on your every word

And overreact if what you said wasn’t at all what I heard

If I didn’t want you doing things I couldn’t understand

Everywhere you went I wanted to lend you a hand

If I questioned you about your friends as if you’re a liar

When you had fun without me I wasn’t a happy camper

What if you felt smothered and needed a way out

With that I’d be dejected and your love I would doubt

What if I thought that your world was spinning just for me

And I thought that this was love and it was meant to be

The Kingdom of God is coming forth

The light of his virtue in birth

Eternity’s love searches in spirit

God’s wisdom; some hearts can hear it

Galaxies fade in the distant north

Responding in a timeless course

His Holiness in humanities worth

See God through eyes of meekness

As he responds to his people on earth

When someone dear says Good Bye

You may laugh instead of cry

If you know where they are going

You hope your heart is showing

A little extra feeling glowing

Create memories in a bond or a tie
