Smiles come in many shades

From the heart a smile invades

Listen to the voice persuade

Behind a smile the eyes pervade

Bubbly laughter hides charades

Empty chatter is a smile delayed

Ruthless smile is fear displayed

Phoney smile is the spirit’s fade

Smiles sink and smile rise

A missing smile and minds collide

Speak volumes to the other side

Victory over the loss of pride

 A smile of peace is priceless ease

Angels comfort and hope release

In perfect timing a smile can seize

And bring compassion to its knees

Give your heart to love God please

God smiles through hearts like these

Beyond the trifles that grow muscle

The efforts that bring strength

Anxiety that causes us to hustle

And drives us to our brink

After all is said and done

We have a smoother way to think

Infinity was darkness surrounded in water and clay

vibrations of light melted formations to stay

the earth birthed forth light to revolve into day

Intelligence arose to giftwords to pray

Spirit embodied life; to show us the way
